John Atkinson

John Atkinson, age 90, formerly of Woodstown, passed away Saturday, June 16th in Columbus, Ohio where he has lived for several years. 

Born in Woodstown, he was the son of the late Benjamin F. and Mary Coles Atkinson.  Before his retirement, John worked for the Leheigh-Hansen Co. in Columbus.  He is survived by his good friend, Lawrence Muncy; and his sister-in-law, Lil Mulford; and his siblings, Sarah McGownan, Margaret Adams and Barbara Messick.  John is predeceased by his wife, Mary Earnest, who was from Alloway; his siblings, William, Charles, Mary and Anna Mae. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, June 25th in the Salem Baptist Cemetery.
