Jason Crist Obituary

Jason Harry Crist, Salem NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 12th, 2019 at the age of 59 following a long illness.

He was born in Salem, NJ on November 28th, 1959 and was a graduate of Salem High School and a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Salem NJ. Jason had been totally disabled for 20 plus years of his life. Growing up Jason was an accommodating person. If anyone asked him for help he was ready and able to lend a hand. He was a cheerful person too which everyone saw each time he expressed his sneaky little smile. He loved to go hunting and fishing. After coming home from fishing trips with a great catch for the day, the entire family would enjoy a fish fry at the family home. Our family would like to express our sincerest thanks to the staff at the Carney’s Point Care Center for everything they did for Jason while he was at their facility. Jason was predeceased by his father; William T. Crist Sr. He is survived by his daughters, whom he adored, Ashley and Kimberly Crist of Woodstown NJ. Also survived by his Mother; Virginia F. Crist of Pennsville NJ; Sisters; Virginia (Gee) Crist-Nielsen of Salem NJ, Christine Kern (Bob) of Bumpass VA, Kathleen Oliveri (Tony) of Pennsville NJ; Brother; William T. Crist Jr (Patti) of Salem NJ. Also survived by; many loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles as well as great nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
