Frieda (Hunter) Davenport

Frieda Davenport, age 89, of Pennsville passed away Sunday, July 1st.  Born in Riverside, NJ she was the daughter of the late Neil and Enid Rutledge Hunter.  Frieda was a sewing machine operator for Chatham Dress of Salem.  She belonged to  VFW Post 1952 and the American Legion of Pennsville.  Frieda is survived by her sons, Kenneth Henson (Dorothea) and Hank Davenport (Debbie); sister, Mildred Snedeker; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her husband, Harry Davenport; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ed Burden; brothers, Herbert and Francis Hunter; and sisters, Dorothy Burden, Edna Mendolera and Helen Batson. 

Graveside services will be held 9:00 AM Thursday, July 12th in Riverview Cemetery in Penns Grove.
