Eleanor (Wentzell) Bleistine

Eleanor Wentzell Bleistine, age 94, formerly of Salem.

Passed away on May 2, 2018 at Merion Gardens. Born in Salem, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Amos Webster Wentzell & Anna M. Johnson. Eleanor graduated from Salem High School Class of 1942. She worked as an executive secretary for Mannington Mills. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Penns Grove, NJ, Former member of White Shrine, Women’s Club of South Jersey and was a volunteer at the Memorial Hospital of Salem Co. She is survived by her son, Joseph G. Hart (Lori) of Medford Lakes, NJ, granddaughter Melissa Robey (Mike), nephews Gregg Wentzell of Oxford, OH, James Meyers and John Meyers both of Bridgeton. She is predeceased by her first husband, Harry Hart, and second husband Cyril Bleistine. 

Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 9th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak Street, Salem where friends may call after 10:00 AM. A private family interment will follow at Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
