David W. Hymer, Sr., age 62, of Greenwich passed away in Inspira Medical Center, Vineland.
Born in Bridgeton, he is the son of Cecelia Maxwell Hymer and the late Carl Hymer. David was employed by Ameri Gas in Woodbine, NJ. as a propane truck driver; to many he was known as, "Dave the Gas Man." He also did commercial crabbing and was an avid fisherman. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife, Laura Ann Evans; his son, David W. Hymer, Jr. (Tara) of Hopewell; his daughter, Theresa Reynolds (Richard) of Vineland; brothers, Carl Hymer, Jr. (Gail) of Quinton and Timothy Hymer (Mae) of Deepwater; sisters, Cynthia Picerno (Rocky) of Upper Deerfield, Connie Blevins (Don) of SC, Joan Clour (Jimbo) of Quinton and Lisa Clour (Rick) of Quinton; his grandchild, Amelia Reynolds; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held12:00 noon, Thursday, July 18th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 11:00 AM and also Wednesday evening, July 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cohansey Baptist Cemetery, Roadstown.
