Charles S. Finlaw, age 67, of Hancock's Bridge passed away Wednesday, September 5th in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County.
Born in Bridgeton, he was the son of the late Robert and Rena Fahrnkroft Finlaw. Charles retired from the Lower Alloways Creek road department with 28 years of service. He was a member of the Quinton Sportsman's Club and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and traveling with his family. Charles is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Burt; step-daughters Claudia Pennington & husband Brian of Hancock's Bridge and Lisa Stiles & husband Steve of LAC; his buddy, Jen LaSpada; brother, David Finlaw of Bridgeton, sisters, Marjorie Malinowski of Canton, Suzanne Beal of Greenwich, Patricia Kugler of Bridgeton, Janet Liman of Voorhees and Pamela Ecret of Canton; grandchildren, Jake, Luke and Trent; and son, Charles S. Finlaw, Jr. of Salem.
Services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 12th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 10:00 AM.
