Anna Lopatin, age 93, of Quinton, passed away Monday, March 19th in Kennedy Hospital, Washington Twp.
Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Ponte Gabriel. Anna was a homemaker and a seamstress who also enjoyed art and being a Cub Scout den mother. She was a volunteer at the Oasis soup kitchen and the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Anna was a member of the St. Johns Episcopal Church of Salem where she was a former SundaySchool teacher. She is survived by her step-children, Nickolas Lopatin III (Linda) of Westville, Patty Fox of Pennsville, Jimmy Lopatin of Salem and Sam Lopatin of Las Vegas; children, Greg Ficcadenti of Quinton, Shirley Earnest (Carl) of Woodstown and Joyce Casto of Carneys Point; sister, Gilda Walsh of Westmont, NJ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna is predeceased by her husband, Nickolas Lopatin, Jr.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 24th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak Street, Salem where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will be in St. John's Episcopal Cemetery. Donations in Anna's memory may be sent to the All Saints Memorial Fund, 76 Market Street, Salem, NJ 08079
