Hannah V Atwell

Hannah V. Atwell, age 84, of Pennsville passed away Thursday, April 19th in Christiana Medical  Center, Newark, DE.  Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late  Samuel and Verna Klessel Carmon.  Hannah worked at the Pennsville Acme market as a greeter.  She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.  Hannah enjoyed word search puzzles, watching soap operas especially The Young and the Restless, visiting Delaware Park and talking with people.  Hannah is survived by her daughter, Susan Arnold (Lannie) of Pennsville; her granddaughter, Billie Jo Harris; her great grandson, Shane Harris; daughter-in-law, Christine  Atwell of Ocean City, NJ; and several step-great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her husband, George N. Atwell, Sr.; sons, George N. Atwell, Jr. and Ernest Hugh Atwell; and daughter, Diane Janis Atwell. 

Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25thin WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 12:00 Noon.  Interment will be private.  Contributions in Hannah's memory may be sent to the Trinity United Methodist Church, S. Broadway & Church St., Pennsville, NJ 08070.
