Andrew J. Atkinson, age 37, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 28th in the Pennsylvania Hospital of Philadelphia. Born in Salem, he is the son of Charles and Deborah Gereau Atkinson of Alloway. Andrew was a toll taker for the NJ Turnpike Authority. He was a 1999 graduate of Woodstown High School, where he played the trumpet for 4 years, he was in the NJ All State Choir and Andrew enjoyed working with plants. Before his grandmother, Sally Gereau, passed away, Andrew was her caregiver. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Richard Atkinson (Jamie) of Brick Twp.; his nephews, Gavin, Lucas, Quinlan and Landon, all of Brick Twp.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 9th in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49 Quinton Township where friends may call after 10:00 AM and also a visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Alloway Methodist Cemetery.
